Immigration policies fueling construction worker shortage, says contractor group

Bill Black, president of the Calgary Construction Association, agreed that the labor gap will drive up costs and potentially lead to lower-quality work. He also stressed the need to rebrand construction as a valued trade to address long-term labor shortages.
