The major development last week was a new pilot agreement between the UK and France. Additionally, the Home Office was found to have acted unlawfully in how it handles complaints by immigration detainees. However, it won a deportation appeal involving an EEA national who had also lived in the UK as a non-EEA family member of another EEA national.
