US deportations under Biden surpass Trump's record

In the 2024 fiscal year, the U.S. deported over 271,000 undocumented immigrants, the highest number in nearly a decade, surpassing the record set during Donald Trump's first term. The increase in deportations was partly due to streamlined processes and expanded diplomatic efforts to secure cooperation from countries in Africa and Asia.
